Most old jap cars have hardend valve seats anyway so you would not need to use lead in your petrol just make sure that you use a petrol with a decent octane level to stop your car detonating. I dont recall the year but i heard from many sources that japs aint used leaded petrol since the 70s its only shit australian cars that require it.
