mate you should know that there are so many HP heroes in the world that any figure MUST be taken with a healthy dose of salt... you can't just compare one vs another as many dyno operators fudge the numbers... the fact that there are different definitions for HP matters little when you can alter a dyno readout by however much you want by fudging things.
as i hinted, many US dyno figures are 'a little high' same as for rotary figures here in OZ.. i don't know why that is, but it seems to happen often..
thing slike the "shootout mode" are designed to reduce operator input errors (deliberate or otherwise) but the only figures you should trust are those from ENGINE DYNOS that are operated in accordance with the relevant STANDARD, be it DIN or SAE....
