Hey Guys,
I put a cd player in the normal console in a RA28 with out too many probs, see the pic.
I fixed the basket to the underside of the dash where there is a pit of metal, i used some green plugs (rawl plugs) as spacers and it worked sweet.
I got my permanent power from the fuse box, but i was only running the head unit, no amp. This worked fine for me.
If i was running an amp i'd run a bigger (4mm min) from the battery to the amp, but you can power the head from the fuse box.
I got the acc power from the old radio loom.
I havent done any of this to the new RA28 as it has A/C and the head unit wont fit! so i'll have to make a custom center console...
on second thoughts i cant attach the pic cos the option isnt there!! wtf?? does someone want to host if for me??
