celicamad85 Forums Junkie Banned member Location: Brisbane Registered: May 2002	Re: Attn: RA65 Owners Fri, 31 May 2002 10:11 i had a spare set of springs for my ra65 so i cut one of the coilds out on each spring.....which is stupid to do if you want to drive it as less coils=more pressure on remaining spring this lowered the car about 3 inches it looked damn tough but the back wheels went psycho camber, a suspension joint i think it was midas ? said they can make it lowered three inches and make their own springs and adjustable shocks for about $400 just for the rear the front was $250 anyway im glad i never did it after reading what norbie said, it makes a lot of sense i now have 15 inch wheels and just took out the rubber mounts, it makes small short grinding noises as go up driveways etc. stefan i may think about seperating the head, i will probably sell the extractors seperatly p.s. the car is painted again super red ...and the blood red pearl goes down over the top in a month when the paint is settled properly, my mate thinks it was painted before in acrylic paint but with two pack clear so it went shithouse, i need to get some decent bumpers then i will take some pics, the seats go in next week and the 3t-gte is ready just have to get a crossmember sent up from melbourne should be go ahead and down to the track for late september [Report message to a moderator]
