In finding out a problem with my car under accelaration which turned out to be the afm maxing out, we went through the procedure of testing the tps. This was done by unplugging it. Car still ran like it did before (which was fine under normal throttle) it did not make the car drop of power at cruising speed, as you will find that the tps is used for acceleration enrichement. Fueling ect is controlled by afm and your cas. You might have a fault with your afm. The shitty trap door could be gettin jamed open and causing the car to run rich and therefore make jack all power. This has also happend to me and when comming to a stop the motor stalled. Just a thought and perhaps something for you to look into.
