hey dude i've done this conversion myself about 8-9 months ago now
mine was a 1986 cs-x hatch btu had the 4ac in it
i had everything i needed for the conversion before i started. i used the 100kw 4age engine with the standard 4ac gearbox. i also used a twin cam EFi fuel tank and fuel lines, the twin cam fuel lines are larger and can carry more fuel, although a lot of people have been fine with the 4ac fuel lines so i guess its up to you, however it took my a fuckload of time to get the fuel lines all in and stuff as they had some slight kinks to them that i culdnt bend back No engine mounts need to be modified it will all line up and bolt in. It would be extremely helpful to have a couple of guys give you hand installing it. you will also need an engine crane for the removal of the 4ac and dropping down of the new engine. I'd also recommend installing the gearbox onto the 4age while the 4ag is out of the car and then drop the whole engine and gearbox in the bay as one item, thats what we did and it was so much easier. then its just a matter of lining up the mounts. removal of the old engine and dropping in of the new one shouldn't take you more than a weekend if you've only got one other guy helpin ya, me and my mate did most of the install minus fuel and wiring in one weekend, although they were 6am starts and close to 8pm finishes but hey. as for the time it really depends on if you have everything you need for the conversion, how good you are with tools, how much help you have. i had my car professionally wired up and a few other things fixed up mainly bcause i was lazy and this was my first engine swap, my first car too actually and the wiring cost my 500 bones, this culd be done cheaper i guess but like i said i had extras done at the time central lockin, alarm install amp install and a few switches for things i wanted, manual thermo fan ect ect.
Look for some of my posts about it, there is PLENTY of infomation, if not all the information you'll need in these forums, this is where i got all my info from.
Good luck and PM me if you need and specific info!
Cheers
