They had a team of 5 cars... and not one Toyota!
Lots of PRB / Westfields doing well. A Age20v powered one let go in some way or another, covering the place in smoke wherever it went. Possibly an oil line let go dumping oil onto the exhaust...
It is an annual team event. basically every team has one car out on the track with a nominated lap time. If you break out, then the lap doesn't count. When a car comes in to change, a velcro sash is removed from the front guard and placed on the out car.
Any type of car can compete. Minis won the handicap section. A team of 993 / 996 ? porsches won the outright. A battle between one of them and a Cobra replica was great viewing. Our quickest car was an ex Tony Longhurst GpA 323.
