Yeah, they do offer reservist officer training. Basically you do 2 weeks of the basic recruit course all soldiers do then get whisked away to Duntroon to do a lot of bits and pieces. Once qualified all they do is paperwork. Lots and lots of paperwork. 
I suppose if you're a qualified tradie then your skills would be better utilised as a soldier, but if you're a qualified accountant, engineer etc. then the officer stream is more for you.
