gday,
superchaep is the way to go, cost me 25$ and thats all. as for the sand, i used freshwater river sand that i sifted through an old flyscreen and i comes out to a perfect grade.
u should also consider getting/doin
1. wearing a respirator coz the fine sand particles that are given off can go into ure lungs and stick there
2. also from supercrap, buy 5 poly tarps (cost bout 8.50$) each and have 1 on the ground and the other 4 as 'walls'. with this u can take the thing u want to sand (ie. door) into the ' make-shift booth' and sandblast all day from about 1 bucket. after the buckets empty, pick up the tarp off the ground and drop all the sand bak into the bucket, easy. u can recycle it as many times as u want
3. mask off anywhere where u wont want the sand to go beacause it literally goes everywhere, in ure hair, in ya ear, in every little nook an cranny of the car makin it a pain in the arse to clean it and get all of it out
anyway thats all it is basically
