Sat, 01 June 2002 01:25 I was thinking of getting a 1JZGTE a while back but I've checked out Auto stores and they don't even have parts for the thing...sparks, leads, etc...so I don't wanna pay double to service my car...not my idea for maintenance. So then I thought about getting a 7MGTE but no one for sale thats in good condition. Then MX83TOY was selling a 7MGE thats been serviced and stuff and I thought it might be a good idea since I wont have to do that stuff myself. And it's like only 1 second slower than the 7MGTE in stock form and I really want fast 0 - 100 times and be able to tromp it from around 80 - 140 quickly....dunno if the 7MGE can do that... Then MAD510 is selling a 1GGTE with *everything* which has gotten me lots interested in that one coz its straight out of a GA70. And I want to be able to get come cooler noises and stuff one day just to be able to say I got a turbo even if I don't race people coz the motor mightn't make the car quick. The thing is I dunno the condition of the engine. Also I just recently got my exhaust system done which included a high flow cat and muffler and 2.5" mandrel bend piping to the back. This costed me $570 and I don't exactly want to buy something that will make me HAVE TO get the exhaust system done again. Anyway, Japspec, what sort of times can u get with the 1GGTE in the GA70? And it's true, I like the import shape better...for some reason. I'd like to be able to get to 100ks in about 6-7 seconds. This is important to me coz my mate with an EB XR8 reaches it in 8 - 9 seconds. Thanks for reading...but I need to make a decision so please help me!!! [Report message to a moderator]
