Sat, 01 June 2002 01:58 If you put a 1jz you will definitely be getting in the 6-7 to 100kph. As for consumables, the spark plugs are platinums and should be OK for 80,000+. The timing belt was freely available from Gates (the 1jz is an international Toyota Engine) The oil filter is as 7m-gte (ryco 418 ? = $10) Get a large K&N pod for about $120 that you can wash You shouldn't need spark leads as the coils plug onto the spark plugs in between the cam covers. You DO use more fuel (I used to get 400 km per tank as opposed to my wife's 7m-gte that can get 500+ before I tuned the AFC. These are both autos. Now I get about 450km It also does like to have a 3 inch exhaust, but saying that, the stock exhaust was about 2 1/2 inches [Report message to a moderator]
