Manny Forums Junkie Location: Sydney Registered: May 2002	Re: 1jz coolant leak Thu, 30 December 2004 09:13 There are a couple of coolant return lines from the turbo cooling system on the main return pipe that runs alongside the passenger side of the block. This main pipe hooks up to the rear of the water pump. The heater return hose also connects to the rear of the main pipe before it bends behind and around the block. There's also a drain plug mid/rear of the block for draining/flushing the blocks coolant. The other alternative is a dud welch plug on that side of the engine.... Your best bet is to get the car up on jacks, remove the under covers and poke around with a flashlight until you pinpoint the source. [Report message to a moderator]
