The spline on the 5th gear only covers about half the gear width. A bit of a design fault in my opinion but who knows why they did it that way. I guess thats why they didn't use this box in the GT celicas. It will cost you a lot more to repair it than it will to buy another one. Driving around in 5th at 60km/h is the best way to kill it too. Use 5th on the freeways where it needs higher gearing. Thats why it's there. [Report message to a moderator]
