HighRolla Forums Junkie Location: Sydney Registered: January 2004	Steering rack boots!! Sun, 02 January 2005 09:04 Can they be replaced without taking the tie rod out of the connection to hub? I.e When you put a car in for a wheel alignment is it just a matter of unthreading the steering arm out of the tie rod (where they would normally just wind the steering arm in or out a few turns and then slipping the boot on? Just wondering if it's worth my time putting the boots on or pay extra and get them put on (depending on how much), as I need a wheel alignment anyway.
