part costs so far:
VRS kit from repco $150 - isn't monotorque but is ACL
copper max and blue gasket goos - $26
gasket paper - $5
bottle of hylomar (was out of this anyway) - $13
buses and courier - $9

needed: ECU temp sensor (busted the plug dammit)

already have: thermostat, oil, coolant, oil filter

manifold was a bitch - i left the inner part attached to the head until head was removed - the lower stud holes were filled with crap and were not allowing the manifold to slide off... grrr

i dismantled as much of the manifold as i could while head still on engine - i figured all those bolts were put there for a reason Wink

The reason for considering injectors was all the stuffed plugs... also, i'll have little use for gen 1 1G-GTE units Wink

It would be a lift form 182cc/min (grey 5ME plugs) to 220 cc/min (yellow 1G-GTE).... i've got a day or two to decide Wink

as for the t25, i'm not going to soil it by bolting it onto a grubby 5M? Razz Laughing
plus i'd then be up for the costs of dump pipe? ... however, a low boost high compression supra would be fun (while it lasted) Wink

cheers, charles.
