TIG is the preferred method for welding alloy, however, it can be done with an Oxy.
I have difficulty using a TIG because I can't see the tungsten tip properly (colour vision issues) so I use an Oxy most of the time.
That and when you accidentally touch the filler rod to the tungsten tip (due to reason mentioned above) you get a mighty big jolt!
