hey bro , jus readin the replys to this drama ya seem to be it ....after workin in a dismantling place for the past three years (and actually doing a Rav 4 same as yours today ) i can tell you that you should undo all bolt from underneath ( all cross member bolts,inc tailshaft,but leave the engine mounts and struts tight for now...) unplug all wiring hoses..etc.. then lower the car and supporting the engine with ya crane drop the bolt at the mounts, and aftre double checkin that all hoses,wiring,etc are unpluged ,drop the struts and its shall all fall out as a assembly, then to put back together is reverse of that ...see how you go ...
just my 2c worth ...let us all know who is goes..
