Yup, sure does.
Most of these were shot at 1/1600 shutter speed. I would have liked to have gone to 1/2000 shutter speed, but I don't have bright enough lighting here to allow it. As it was with 1/1600 shutter speed, I had 4 lamps directly over the water, and the flash brightness cranked almost to full. I know they're a little dark, but unfortunately I can't go any brighter with the equipment that I have!
As for the camera, it allows complete controle over obsolutely everything. All the usual effects like black and white, sepia, invert, etc. Plus you can controle flash brightness, lense angle, shutter speeds, aperture settings, exposure settings. And I know I'm only scratching the surface here. There are a million and one other options on the camera that I haven't had time to fiddle with yet.
The settings I used for these photo's (after about 2 hours experimenting) were 1/1600 shutter speed, 6.5 exposure, A50 aperture, 60% flash brightness, and zoomed to about 1.5x. Focussing was a little tricky because I still haven't got the hang of the manual focus thing on the camera - So I had to mark a reference point on the surface of the water (usually with the tip of a pen or my finger) and focus on that by pressing the shutter button halfway down, and then while holding that reach over and try to drop water on the surface at exactly the same point, and capture it exactly timing wise
