those exhaust restrictors are a load of crap makes about 2-3db difference.

if its only a cat back system then why spend so much on it?? buying only name brand stuff doesnt make sense when there is cheap stuff available that will do the same thing, its not like you have a ferrari man. seriously a 2" pressbent system would be fine on your cat back system. you may notice an increase in top end after about 6000rpm maybe 6500 it will want to keep going a lot more than the prevous system but unless you do a bit of work at the front of the car the rest of the system isnt going to make much difference.

My ideal system would be something like this, remember you have a 1.6l 4 cyl N/A

extend the secondaries on the standard exhaust manifold by about 50cm, add a high flow cat (200ish?) 2.25" pressbent mild steel. 1 or 2 reasonators then a straight thru style box, even one of those ricey cannon things, it will be loudish, but will give awesome note at 7000-7500

i have seen flow tests compairing mandrel bent vs pressbent and the difference is negliable, so go up a .25" in pressbent to make up for the difference
stainless steel exhaust is over rated rice crap, mild steel will last 5-10 years anyway. a stainless system would outlive the car! waste of money imho
