There's a fair bit of information there.

I own a 93 with a few mods making 134fwkw.
Mid to low 13's will require around the same power output I have.
As for problems.. torque steer as you'd expect from any turbo fwd. Parts are quite easy to come by, as for the issue with CV's I haven't experience any problems personally and haven't seen that many examples.
