If you're talking about the diff itself and not the entire axle, then yes it is possible - provided your TA22 is the later version with the T series diff, not the earlier D series. When I blew the diff in my TA22 many moons ago, I replaced it with an RT104 diff - so I can tell you with some confidence it is possible.
