but yes my mum had a 86 corona with that engine, 4 banger 2litre carby thing yeh? and it was a pig, but with 165's on the rear it was a dori pig in the wet 
i reackon you be hard pressed to get 120hp at the fly let alone at the treds.
considering the 100kw 4age i got makes 140ish hp and feels about twice as quick as the coroner
but i could be wrong, i've seen a datto 1600 with the original motor worked off its tits, webber carbs, massive cams ect ect, doing crazy times down the 1/4.
