RA23 Thu, 07 November 2002 05:30 mate the engine's good. doesn't use oil, doesn't use water! you won't need to do anything to engine as it runs great! if you wan't to do any car up to showroom condition you'll be needing to do a complete respray any way, so i wouldn't worry about the engine bay colour. all you really need to worry about if that's your intention is the body, as a complete rebuild generally entails a complete overhaul of the whole car, inside and out! in the meantime the car should give you no worries at all as long as you treat it with a bit of respect. oh! have forgotten to mention previously two things which you would probably want to know: 1. currently there is no horn connected up! but among the spares there is a brand new set of air horns that's waiting to go on. easy job to fit if you know what you're doing. 2. clutch bearing is on the way out and will nedd to be replaced probably within next 6-12 months. i have decided to allow for this in the price as i should have mentioned this before.
