myTA22 Regular Registered: December 2002	Re: FS: 3T-GTE in to TA22 conversion kit Tue, 11 January 2005 09:39 G'day Geoff, I don't want to be a smart ass but my avatar is my car and that is a TA22 which is what the engine came out of, i was the owner of the car when it was installed (i helped the guy that did it for me...but i was there sharing the blood, sweat and tears the week before my wedding as we were driving away from the wedding in the car).....also, technically you don't need to do anything to mod a TA22 crossmember if you want to do a 'quick and cheap' job.....to do it properly though the exhaust engine mount really needs to be moved out 1 3/8 of an inch to accommodate for the oil return line for the turbo....failing that you can put a flexible hose on it or use narrower engine mounts but i prefered to use the standard TA22 mounts (easier to replace as a set)and also not have to worry about a possible kink in the oil return line and blowing of the turbo.....i'm 110% certain it is for a TA22 Cheers mate Dan [Report message to a moderator]
