There will be a threaded section between the pedal and where it goes through the firewall. you screw the threaded bit to change the length of the rod, thus changing the "ammount" of clutch that is applied. What's happenning now is that the clutch pedal, even when all the way out, is still pushing on the clutch the slightest bit. you have to adjust it so that it isn't putting pressure on the clutch plate when the pedal is all the way out.
