yer i did the head myself, but i havent checked the valve clearance when the engine is hot, what is the clearance i may have the setting too high, im running it at the moment without a air cleaner, bracing, and it keeps popping air/fuel out the primary barrel out towards the sky, its not igniting just spraying out when i rev it, i goes, but its easy to tell its the timing, im going to check TDC tomorrow but what should i mark the balancer as? does a pencil, whiteout work for the timing light, i have a timing light she holds idle at about 15degrees, because of the new head, do i need to also tune my carb to run richer or have a higher idle, because id be close to stalling if i run the car at 10degrees, and at 15 she struggless to drive, im assuming the timing is out already so my reading is probably really inaccurate, but i need to know what to mark the harmonic balancer with so i can see its line, and what i need to know what the feeler gauge measurement, and why she'd be spittin out the carby like that
