Fri, 14 January 2005 07:09 there is a thread : stereo whine / noise FAQ installation problems - connections bad / wrong ie ground loop - crosstalk induced from power wires - standard supressors (condensors) bad gradual / sudden problems - connections have loosened - condensors have gone bad <edit> yeah had a mixup noise filters are put in the power circuit so depending on what amperage your circuit is you will be able to get the correct filter. 10amp, 20amp, 30 amp, 40amp are common and 30 amp is about $35. i doubt you could build one for that if at all. noise filters are a band aid to cover the real problem, some wont even be able to supress the noise as i found out [Updated on: Sat, 15 January 2005 03:48] [Report message to a moderator]
