My understanding was its not how often you drive the car hard, but how hard you drive it; so if you took it upto 6000 RPM max, then it should be OK; but if you take it to 7,000 - 7,500 even just a few times it might be enough to stuff the crank.
Even if you don't touch the crank you may want to find if you can get ARP Big end bolts for your crank - apparently they are very successful at reducing crank / bearing problems in 3SGTE's that are driven very hard.
