if memory serves me right the 2T can be bored out to a 2L or even 2.2L but you are not leaving any room between the cylinder and the water jackets

thats the main thing that needs to be considered!!! you dont want only a couple mm between them otherwise the head gasket will continually blow... even using a metal head gasket wouldnt be that much different as there is very little room to seal

as for crank you could still use the 2T/3T crank but would require pistons to the size of the over bore
