rob_RA40 Forums Junkie Location: c'town, NSW Registered: May 2002	Re: TEMS technical Mon, 17 January 2005 22:39 all of the fluid is contained in the shock absorber. like all shocks, the TEMS shock is just a ram that pushes fluid through a hole all self contained in a tube. the smaller the hole, the harder it is to push fluid through it, the harder the shock is. the cool thing about the TEMS shock is that it uses a valve to adjust the size of the hole that the ram has to push the fluid through. so the servo motor turns the valve to allow more fluid (boaty) or less fluid (hard) check out google for a cut away diagram of a shock absorber, then picture that the channel that the fluid gets forced through during compression is adjustable, and you have your TEMS shock. dont know if im being clear so HTH.
