Good News, Part 2.... Sat, 09 November 2002 07:02 Go to previous message
...Well, what can I say?

There is at least one 1UZ-powered MX83 Cressida on Canberra's roads now. That's right kiddies, we picked it up yesterday and have been cruising around in it today.
It doesn't like to idle when hot (I think it's running too rich at idle) and there is a small oil leak...but everything else is working well.
The original ECU controls the transmission, the Autronic controls the engine. The A/C was gassed up with R134A and works. The cruise control also works. Oh, and by the way, the car hammers! (My wife illustrated this by "bagging it up" from the workshop! Razz )

Still a way to go, but initial indications are good!

BTW. It also has a VERY nice V8 note Smile

So, who's for Bathurst and the 24 Hour???

( I may change my forum username to "Baby LS" (tm)
