soarinsoarer Occasional Poster Forum Sponsor Registered: October 2004	Re: Oil Filter Re-Location kit - 1JZGTE and 3SGE/GTE Thu, 20 January 2005 09:55 hose clamps on oil relocation kits can and will eventualy come loose and as it has happened to a guy i Know in Sydney on a GTR skyline. it seized the turbos and created a bad knock in the engine BECAUSE a clamp let go. REMEMBER guys when a hose gets hot it goes soft and the hose clamp will stay at the same tension that you put it on at. AT COLD so when you heat the hose it is soft, and then can slide off under the clamp. screw in fittings would be the only way to do the job safely .. ALSO don't forget that the hoses are under constant pressure so the oil will come out that quick you will only notice it when you engine starts knocking and then its all over .. I better remind you also that Kristian does not own Japanese Import parts any more I do. If he has to persist with selling items (which is a breach of contract) Make sure you get them sent C.O.D.
