Yes, there is very little in cyber-space on the RT11# series hardtops. I have been searching for years. I have found a couple of cars in USA and one in Canada, but that's about it. But there will be one more site featuring this model, when I get one! I've basically collected everything I can on this model, pictures from the 'net, an owners manual (USA 20R spec) and factory parts book. I have a USA sales brochure on the way. I even have a mint Tomica model of a RT114 Corona 2000GT the same as this one! http://hellototomica.com/tomica/0890102_e.html I was very happy the day I bought that! I'm looking into NZ, keeping an eye out on a few forums and trademe.co.nz (sort-of NZ equivalent of eBay). So far - nothing. We are planning a holiday in NZ around Easter, so I will see what I can turn up then. Shipping is around $1500 and if the car is 30+ I only have to pay GST on the car's value. If it's 29 or less, 15% import duty and then 10% GST on top. So now's a good time to find a 1974 or early 75 model. Then I have to pay another $800-1000 to get the car complianced by an engineer. What happened to the RT5# 1600GT that you drove? Did it sell, or is it still lying around somewhere? I can imagine one of these would be a real giggle to drive. BTW, I'm also quite partial to Carina hardtops (sort of half celica and half corolla), but I've never seen one except online. They seem to have a bit of a following in the USA. My Mini van's engine is basically Cooper spec (not Cooper S spec). It's only 1132cc, but it's quicker than some 1275 Minis! A Moke with a Cooper S engine? It flies! A Moke weighs around 550kg (about 100kg less than a Mini sedan) so stick a hot 1275 engine in there and hang on! I have just spent the last two days prepping and respraying the engine bay and interior surfaces of my Moke with that "Panel Fleck" paint they use in Ute trays. (I'm on annual leave) This Moke is going to be for play, not showing, so I wanted the hardwearing anti-chip surface inside. I can finally start putting the steering column, pedal box, dash, front subframe etc back in. I have a low mile 1275 engine and 4 speed Auto box out of a 1990's Mini ready to fit to the Moke. The Auto saps a bit of power, but I wanted to be a bit different. Should be fun! [Report message to a moderator]
