My bro has a old skool beamer, e28 528i 85, there decent i guess with the right amount of care, but should inspect them before buying them 2nd hand of course, parts i think are pretty pricey, recently paid about 270 roughly for 2nd hand ignition coil and leads, plus labour, and new fuel filter/tank/pump around $750, so i think they are pretty obtainable. hope this helps
