when it goes just under the empty mark is usally the spot.(please don't go driving out on a open highway to test this out unless you have a jerry can with fuel in it with you) unless you had my old WB Holden ute. when the fuel gauge on it was sitting just under empty you had 35 litres of fuel still in the tank. . I should of fixed that sensor. no wonder I ran out of fuel once with it
