Bit of luck maybe the idiots at the shop didn't fill it up correctly. Secondly if its using that much oil you should notice smoke out the back. Try dropping it back to de-accelerate through the gears, then dump it. If heaps of smoke suspect rings. If not bad then leave it idling for a few minutes then rev it, if smoke then could just be stem seals. Also a compression leak down test could better diagnose this. If you have problems, then maybe heavier grade oil could help reduce the usage for a while. [Report message to a moderator]
