Hey Hokey

What you have suggested is not uncommon at all Cool Its an inexpensive solution to lowering leaves, and sure beats lowering blocks. Blocks add extra leverage (due to the diff housing being located a further distance from the spring) that makes it easier to wind up the spring under acceleration.....Helloo axle tramp!
