hmmmm.... I really want to do this but it does sound a bit daunting.
Especailly want to do it since I was given an advanced driving course as a 21st birthday present. Would be much better to do it in a manual .
Are you suggesting I get a half cut and replace the whole engine and gearbox or just take the bits I need. If I swap the whole lot I would end up with an auto half cut that could probably be sold for almost as much as what I paid for the cut?
I don't really have any space to do this in. I was hoping that I could find the half cut, have it delivered to a workshop and leave my car with them, come back a few weeks latter and have it all done. Yeah I'm dreaming aren't I.
Might have a word with my mechanic and see if he would take it on board. Would probably take to long for him to be able to do it.
