err, dizzy is short for distributer dude.

But, the aftermarket system just replaces the ECU.
Everything else is utilised.

Unless you do some custom work and convert to coilpack arangement.
But you will still need a crank/cam angle sensor of some description.


FYI, the MTX8 was superseeded by the LTX8 about 4-5 years ago, and the LT8S/LTX8S replaced the LTX8 about 18months ago.

The Microtech is a good system for the price you pay, and works well on the A series motor.
Not worth it for you unless you intend to go far from stock on the motor.
