I considered both options, well all school was shoving down my throat was Uni bs. Anyway i looked into apprenticeships and come the end of year 12 i applied for mainly eletrical apprenticeships, but also kept my uni options open. I decided to take an offer with Energy Australia, now im a 2nd year and in another year i'll start the advanced diploma in electrical engineering, which can lead into the degree, if you want. The best bit is all course fee's are covered plus work still gives me some time of when im doing the adv diploma. In short uni isn't for everyone, and it isn't your only option.
