2 words for you: VERY HARD I was considering the same thing myself a year ago... decided to buy a MA61 supra and do the 1jz-gte into that. there'a guy called matt green (i think) who put a 1jz-gte into his ra23 celica, and you'll encounter much the same problems as him. it is a BIG engine to be putting into a 4-cyl engine bay. also consider you're adding a lot of weight to the front of your car, so handling will suffer. also, the RA65 has a live axle, not LSD, so you're going to spin off every start. plus the drive shaft and diff are weaker in the RA65 than the MA61. just a few ideas for you... if you're looking for an easy conversion.. this isn't it. but if you're totally commited, you can make it work the engine itself is great... stock produces around 280bhp... an can be modeded to 250KW at the wheels without too much effort [Updated on: Mon, 11 November 2002 05:42] [Report message to a moderator]
