word word... what sort of things are most done to 18RGeu's as a first stage of raising the comp. a little bit, as the older motors had higher, but lesser flowing heads am i right? if this is true what can i do when i freshen up my engine to get the compression up just a little to give it a little more poke and utilize the lesser-restrictive ports? Im talking about +0.5 to +1.0:1 .. is this going to boost the output of the motor noticeably much more considering will be using stock ecu and injectors? and will this affect the reliability and strength much considering i dont think i have enough to perform major TRD overhaul surgery to the old girl.
Would this need altering/reprogramming of the ECU to suit the different compression? probably hey.. or maybe it even wont be possible and worthwhile, using all other stock gear without buying a motec haha.
Cheers heaps for any comments Wink
