Ok lets clear up what I do know and what I doubt is correct...
Quote: | i think they are bargwanna group a racing cams"
this sounds like complete trollop ..... as far as I am aware Bargwanna has never driven a 4AGE powered vehicle in a group A class, he came out of carts and formula ford/holden and 3000 series to V8.. none of which run a toyota engine.
Quote: | know that this should mean that they are under 273'
if the cam is up to 272 degrees and about 7.6mm lift it should be able to stay within the parameters of the factory ecu of a map sensored computer, I think a AFM will handle it even better.
Quote: | how do i measure them
ok first measure the base circle to get standard hight, then measure the lift..from the bottom of the base circle to the highest point of the cam lobe then subtract the base circle from the lift measurement and that gives you total lift , as for the degree thats a bit harder and maybe you should take it to camtech or someone to figure it out for you if you dont have the tools to do it yourself. its likely to be a bit more accurate this way.
Quote: | And finally what sort of power would a red top small port 4AGE make with these cams in a FWD rolla,
thats hard to say because every engine runs differently and has different setups...best bet is to find out if theyre legit and throw them on if theyre ok and bring the car to the next dyno day
