Yeah thanks for the help.

My biggest concern is doing the loom. don't know shit about car electrics and even following wiring diagrams bit of a pain.

Swapping the engine i'm not so worried bout.

Is it worth unbolting my current gearbox (c50) and then rebolting that to 4A-GE or using the one that comes with it?
I know exactly what current one is like and as said the shift is still sweet on all the gears even tho done 230K kms or so.

Whats the difference between efi fuel tank and carby one? Just the pump?
I've been looking round the web heaps for info on the conversions but doesn't seem to be any/much on carby to efi conversions and engine swaps in ae92s. Bit of a pain really coz really interested in doing it.

trust me.. just buy the looms Smiley =
i had to run back and forth about 4 times.. so it pays to have it all..

the gearbox is apparently the same as the carby one im figuring.. i guess the only reason you'll want the engine is if your old one is crap. my had chrunching noises when you try to put it in reverse and sometimes while.. a sound from 2nd gear which isnt really to good =p

the pump is the only thing missing in the tank so you could do an external job. also the fuel filter is alot different Wink

the old carby one was a el cheapo $2 plastic one.. the new one would be a metal canister version which is supposed to be high pressure?

you best bet is to go half cut.. becuase everything will be there minus the fuel tank?unless you can get a deal where you get the engine/looms(engine=x2,chassis=x1) after that you'll probably need a custom wiring job nothing major just about 3 wires so she can start

ive attached a pic of my engine bay and you'll see some things i mentioned such as the fuel filter just behind the airfilter. custom wiring job i did from ignition to batt( the ones with blue electrical tape =p) and the coil with an ignitor on top/underneath
