The pic is of a 40 series (1960 thru to Sept 1967).
The 1UZ apparently doesn't fit (easily) in the 50 series - a few lads here have tried and apparently some part of the engine hits the upper control arm.
Chat to "toyman75", "crownman" (both from here) or Struan (from Classicrown) - they tried it and can fill you in on the specifics.
I couldn't comment specifically on the 60/70 series but given that the engine bay is almost identical to the 50 series, I'm tipping you'll run into the same strife.
There's a fella in Northern Qld (Shane - "Crown V8" on Classicrown) who is most of the way thru fitting a 1UZ to an 80 series wagon. Shane said it fits with the standard steering box. The earlier model unfortunately will all require a rack and pinion conversion (extra work and money).
