A Soarer V8 for $7K?!? If it's in good nick it's an absolute steal! The 1UZFE is a bulletproof motor, just make sure the usual majors have been looked at and replaced if needed, like timing belt (you'd know that). 200000kms, that'd be average if Soarers were brought out into Australia. I picked mine up with 76000 on the clock, and it's now got nearly 100000km on the clock. They're smooth cars, both the TT and the V8. Just remember that the TT is faster than the V8's, and are probably more reliable (no airbag suspension leakages, no EMV/TV screen blank-outs, no power-steering-leak-destroying-alternator leakages...). Just make sure you looks over it carefully!
