Ahh ok, cool, I will keep an eye out for one.

Meanwhile I put the kit that my friend had made up for the escort into the TA22, seems quite good. the spark on cylinder 1 was visibly brighter when the kit was in the on position. (although i had just cleaned and set the points before I did this kit.) Previously I checked the spark with the points before I cleaned it, so It may have been that too.)

Anyway what I did do is check the voltage going to the points when the kit is set to On, around 7-8v (slight fluctuation), when the kit is off it was reading 12V.

It did seem to be a bit more responsive when driving, (less hesitation on putting the foot down), but then that could just be the placebo effect too, me wanting it to feel smoother Smile

Thanks for all the info guys, got some more ammunition to play around with now.
