Depending on the caliper you are using its easy.
Take the RX7 calipers for example. All you have to do is trace out the pad backing plate on some 4mm steel plate, drill some holes in it and fit it like a standard pad. Simple and has been done a billion times.
But as I said it depends on the caliper.
