i disagree. i find its usually the SAVAGE left foot that will destroy a gearbox / diff, no matter how strong they are.
you can have shitloads of power, and torque and still keep a lowly gearbox alive, while going fast. it just requires being smooth on the clutch during take off and gear-changes.
dumping the clutch, and flatchanging are not benificial to driveline health.

absolutely amen to that...
anyone can break any box by flatchanging often enough... i used to do that, and i used to break a box every 6 months... i changed and my last box has been in for 3 years (just came out to make way for a 5 speed after a "little" clutch explosion  )
if you are already breaking diffs and boxes, you obviously don't drive very well or responsibly.
either learn to drive , or beef up the drivetrain beyond recognition, and add lots of weight to your sik car..
