Thom Occasional Poster Location: central coast NSW Registered: January 2005	Re: Engine, GearBox and Diff on a 81 hilux 2wd Tue, 01 February 2005 10:53 u can pretty easily change it to a holden v8 or v6, a few places sell conversion kits, after my engiene froze i looked around and ive settled on this option cos im stripping the ute anyways, think ill go with the holden 3800, maybe the v8 but i want to drive the thing on a budget. i tried looking around locally for a 18RG varient, no luck, no one wanted to sell a 18RC cos thier old as sept one place that wanted 500 for a non reco POS. theres heaps of options [Report message to a moderator]
